A few weeks ago, my husband was given the opportunity to work remotely for a week, so that in his off hours he could work on his photography. Off to Maine we went (the perks of being a writer—I can go too!), for a week of work and adventure. Strawberry Fields

A few weeks ago, on a Saturday, Tony and I got up early. We got dressed, put on our “don’t mind if they get muddy” shoes, and headed out to our favorite strawberry farm. Growing up, one of my least favorite things about summer was our required reading list for school. I will never forget slowly plodding through Huckleberry Finn or putting off reading The Grapes of Wrath until the end of the summer and thinking I would never finish in time.
